Another mistery (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Several years ago I've took at least 30 pictures with this bird, and 99% of it came out as a "mistery bird" on the snapshots. There is also one where you can see the whole bird, but for fun I will post this first. The picture was taken not far from my hometown in late April.
What do you think?

At first glance I would say that it is a Water Rail.

I agree with John about it being some sort of Rail, but just to be different (and for no other reason!) I'll say it's a Sora Rail.

Yes first impression is of Water Rail.

I thought perhaps Baillon's, but they don't have red at the base of their bill, so I'll guess Little Crake.

Hi Szabo,
I see that I got here too late!Knew that one straight away from the first photo.Saw my only Little Crake not far from you:a female in Bulgaria in Sep.99,great birds!!
