thanks guys, It seems straight forward enough, the other reason why I want to try RAW is because Ive heard that every time you edit an Image in jpeg you lose clarity in the image, Is this correct. Thanks very much for your help on this. RAW here I come.
Sean.
It is true that every time you save as jpeg you lose quality, but if this is the only reason you want to use RAW you could save as TIFF and the image wont lose quality.
Having said that I use RAW and this will give you the best quality and control. I can't understand why photographers spend thousands of pounds on equipment and don't make the most out of their photos by using RAW, once you are familiar with using it the process can be quick and simple.
