Road Trip up the Coast (1 Viewer)

Hey everybody,
The first week of June I will be taking a road trip up North to attend a wedding in Arcata. I live in Ontario / Chino California. We are going to spend a few extra days coming home so I can check out some birding hot spots. Does anyone have any reccomendations of where I should stop to see the most birds or any rare birds? I know San Francisco Bay is supposed to be pretty good so we were planning on spending a few days in that area. Also I heard Pinnacles is a great place to go for a possible condor sighting. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Moss Landing and Elkhorn Slough area is a must-do. This only works if you really are driving up the coast. It would be a bit out of the way if you go up I5.

I agree with gvca1. Moss landing and Elkhorn Slough are "can't miss" locations, if you are in the area (highway 101 goes right by there as well). Pillar point near half moon bay is excelent and if you are in that area, Ano nuevo St. park is also a great spot.
