Good news about the Sociable Lapwing (1 Viewer)

Excellent news, these sorts of results really bring home the impotance of satellite tracking.
If only we had the technology 15 years ago & managed to tag one of the Slender-billed Curlews in Morocco?

Very good point Mark. With an increase in fortunes there may be chance for another Sociable Plover in Northants in the not too distant future. ;)

Nice thing. I said several years ago that it was impossible that Sociable Plower was very rare and that many places within range were unexplored. Nice to be proven right, and that this wonderful bird is more common than it was feared!
