apps has become unstable under windows (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
I allowed windows to update to the latest version today, and I have problems with instability of my photo processing and of firefox since then. Any good ideas?

I had to uninstall Firefox and make a fresh download: that seemed to solve that part of my problems

Re the photo processing: I reinstalled, and thereafter I still had to make a completely new database to make things working again.
