Can anyone help with an ID of this hawk? The photo was taken today, Jan. 20.

Thanks

Thanks for the IDs and the tip on the belly band. I thought it was probably a Red-tailed but most hawks I've seen around here are Red-shouldered and I'm no good at hawk IDs. The bird perched there for a good 2-3 hours while looking down most of the time. There's usually an Osprey perched there or nearby (often eating a fish) and occasionally a bald eagle. An Osprey did arrive shortly after the hawk left.
