It really isn't a good idea to try and photograph into the light. - Any guesses? I'll tell you later

Not my day....it's getting well past midnight. I just figured that Mark has also chosen Rough-legged even though it may be out of range.
I better go to sleep.......

Well done to Sumit, Mark and Aquila - it is indeed a Rough-legged Buzzard. Mark gets full marks for guessing the Lincs bird. I saw it last Christmas when I went home to see the folks. Aquila has just reminded me of a particularly painful episode and a huge gap in my Cornish list - 3 times I went for that bird, and each time it had gone on an 'away day'

I'll make a stab at Honey Buzzard for yours. Whatever it is I reckon I can identify the sky - looks like a piece of the Lizard to me :)

Is it a Goshawk? those wings look broad and quite long, with a defined hand. And the bird lacks the extra length a harrier would have.
