Two Tawny Owls? (1 Viewer)

Both pics taken in the same park. The first pic was taken on January 5th, around 2 p.m. (it was a rather cloudy day). The second pic was taken today, January 9th, around 9 a.m., in the sunrise light. In both situations I use the same gear and the auto setting for WB. In my opinion these are two different birds. What do you think?
Thank you for help.

even assuming the colour difference is an artefact (i don't think it is though)

the details of the feather patterning seem different in the two pix, so surely two birds!

cheers,
James

I would suggest there two different birds for the reason James said. Very nice two photos there. Would love a good Tawny Owl photo.
