How durable are eyecups on prime hd either 8 or 10 x42. Prime hd recommended as possible alt to Ziess conquest HD. Need something that is durable as my bino's get a lot of use. Tried of sending bino's in for repair

I have never had an issue with Primes, but I have never had an issue with my Conquest either. I never touch them, I normally set the eye cup to where I need it and never think about it again.

The Primes are a little more secure feeling in their clicks, but it's hard to know if they will last longer.

Had my Primes for about 10 months and no hint of any problems but I've not had any issues with any of the other binocular I regularly use either.
