Gray-necked Wood Rail/Sungrebe (1 Viewer)

Probably just my own ignorance and lack of any references at hand, but when looking up the Gray-necked Woodrail in the database, the bird pictured is captioned "Sungrebe." May just be another common name for the same species, but as that isn't mentioned in the blurb on the bird, didn't know if it was a mistaken caption or a mistaken photo.

Hi Katy,
The bird pictured is certainly a Grey-necked Woodrail -is "Sungrebe" not the BF name of the photographer? ;)

Yes Sungrebe from New York is the photographer, so no one else gets confused I have put Photo by Sungrebe in.
