Ageing a Leica scope (1 Viewer)

Active member
I have just tried to bring up the post from 2011 regarding ageing a Leica scope but due to the length of time since it was last updated was unable to do so therefore thought i would post my own request....

Does anyone know where i could age my recently acquired Leica APO 62 please...

Serial Number 2227722

Thanks in advance.

Steve

I don't know how to age a Leica by the serial number but probably the easiest way is to email Leica and ask them.

Hi postcardcv... i've tried that one and no response thats why i thought i might try the forum knowledgeable :t:

Oh, that's a shame I know I did the same with some Leica bins and got a very quick response. However that was a few years ago when they still had a repair centre in the UK. One of the members on here used to work for Leica (now works for Zeiss) I suspect that if there is a way to tell from the serial number he will know. I am sure he'll find this thread soon enough.
