I have a very low end scope: http://www.tasco.com/single.cfm?s=Spotting Scopes&family=World Class&product=wc206080
and an old Bogen 3001 tripod with even older Gitzo ball head.
I want to make videos through it. I was looking at this tiny camcorder: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9208238 and these mounts: http://www.opticsplanet.net/barska-digiscoping-adaptor.html http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-universal-digiscoping-bracket-black-780002cm.html http://www.opticsplanet.net/celestron-digital-camera-adapter-universal-93626.html http://www.opticsplanet.net/konus-digital-camera-adapter-1300.html or this different approach: http://www.opticsplanet.net/alpen-spotting-scope-digital-camera-adapter-706.html
Do you have any experiences with these mounts and/or camcorder? I'm not looking for broadcast quality, just a simple record. Do you think this will suffice? Thanks.

I had an "L" shaped one (similar to the last one on your list). I found it a bit too wobbly and every time I fitted it, it always needed slight adjustment cos its got too many bolted connections & the bolts on mine were pointed which meant you could never really tighten them enough.

I now use an SRB Gritturn swingout adapter, but I would have thought any of the simpler ones on yr list should suffice.
