5 is pretty much agreed upon.
Taken at Atlanterra, Zahara de los Atunes, Andaluscia, which has to be my favourite beach in the world. Up to 40 Audouins Gulls roosted on it and White-rumped Swifts were regular on the escarpment behind it. The tern was selected to be tricky, perhaps I overdid it! |

OK I'll set up another four!
I thought someone would go for Swainsons Hawk instead of the Booted Eagle. The Raven was Fair Isle, the Pallid Swift at the same place as the Audouin's Gulls. The Bonxie was in serious pursuit of a Gannet in Orkney. It got it and showered us with sprats. The Black Stork was in Extremadura. The Red Rumped Swallow was an adult in Lesvos Last edited by Jane Turner : Saturday 15th November 2003 at 21:49. |
