Avibase tells us this:

Clements 6th ed. (2007):
New Caledonian Parakeet (Cyanoramphus saissetti)

Gill & Wright version 1.1 (2007):
Red-crowned Parakeet (Cyanoramphus saisseti)

Howard & Moore 2003 (corrigenda 5):
Red-crowned Parakeet (Cyanoramphus saisseti)

I think we have to keep this as New Caledonian Parakeet, even though GW and HM agree against it, because of the confusion risk with the other species known as Red-crowned Parakeet. (Primarily the South American species Pyrrhura roseifrons, a split we accept on Clements's authority.)

So, how many t's in the Latin name? I just created a redirect for the "saisseti" version.

Thanks to nomdeploom for bringing this to my attention.

I certainly agree that it shouldn't be under Red-crowned Parakeet; it is getting rather crowded in that particular cage.
