Question Where have all the starlings gone?

Dear Others

I live near Minsmere & last year we were treated to wonderful daily shows of roosting starlings. So far, no show, although by day they can be seen loitering with intent in their thousands around the nearby free range pig fields -where do they go to sleep???

Hi Cally,

Welcome to Birdforum.

Can't help on just where they will have gone as I don't know the area. They normally go to sleep in the large numbers in reedbeds etc where there is plenty of cover for them.
