Hi there
Countryfile mentioned the Red Kite seeding station at Gigrin Farm Wales. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/countryfile/ The idea was to film, and feed the Kites in the normal way (at 2pm). At the same time, try to film the Kites feeding on the ground with another additional camera hidden under a lump of earth and grass Unfortunately, it did not work, and the kites must have sensed that something was different. They did not come down to feed at all. ![]() Take the camera on the ground away, and they came down to feed once more,. That just shows that they are very vigilant birds, and sense if something has changed in their patch. ![]() This is another film of the same place with the birds feeding at the same place. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RZDmueBFS4M Next week: Just to mention that 'Countryfile' is talking about 'Birds' next week, in the area of East Anglia, so that will be interesting too. Regards Kathy
