Hi from Manchester, UK

Glad i landed here, new to it all really, looks like i've got a lot to pickup, my birdwatching is looking out of the patio window most times. So i'd like to getout and do more and use the scope i've just got for Christmas.lol

Hey Jimny Boy. Welcome from another Manchester BF member.
The garden is a great place to start off learning about birds and will give you a good grounding in the more common birds of the UK in many habitats.
Hope you can make good use of the new scope. If you need any help with identifying stuff or where to go just ask on here!
Thanks. Henerz.

Does Santa know you've opened it early? or have you been peeping in the wardrobe?
I started by feeding the birds in the garden some 12/18 months ago-within a couple of months we had 18 different species in a single day!! That was it-we were hooked. You have a lot of enjoyable 'bird watching' to look forward to.
