Reddish Egret in Costa Rica?

Hi Nick,
Looks like a very pale dark-phase juv. Reddish - &/or overexposed.
Supposed to be rare in CR.

That's an excellent record in Costa Rica, they are regular but very scarce birds there. Guanacaste is probably the place to find them easier. Agree on juv. dark phase.

Deffo a Reddish Egret. I've seen two at Carara, Costa Rica, and yes they are a good bird to get.
