Looks like a very pale dark-phase juv. Reddish - &/or overexposed. Supposed to be rare in CR. H

That's an excellent record in Costa Rica, they are regular but very scarce birds there. Guanacaste is probably the place to find them easier. Agree on juv. dark phase.
