Kenyan bat ID
A friend of mine saw these bats in the Masai Mara NR in Kenya in January but neither he nor I can find anything that matches them in Kingdon's mammal field guide. Anyone have any ideas?

It's one of the Epauletted Epomophorus Fruit Bats, not sure which one(s) you get in the Mara though.

Hi James
Thanks for that and putting me in the right direction. It appears it might be East African Epauletted Fruit Bat Epomophorus minimus in that case, unless anyone knows any different. E
