I don't why I looked at thisi -- I NEVER get anagrams!

But I played around anyway, and got:

2. Chimney Swift

5. Arctic Loon

Surprised myself . . . .

Didn't mean to "bombard" -- just got obsessed. I was on a roll for a while, but am seriously stumped for these last two. Help!

Bombard away Ken, no problem.

I'm stumped too

I think my big problem is that I just don't know enough bird species

Steve --
I've had several difficulties with anagrams, jumbles, etc. in the past due to limited species references. As of right now, I'm using the World Bird Species Checklist by M.G. Wells, which has not only the "official" (by who's standard?) names of over 10,000 birds, but also alternative names (whatever else that particular bird might have been called by someone over the past 30 years or so!) for most of them. It came with some software called "Birder's Diary 3" from Thayer, which is really a pretty neat program for keeping records of sightings, trips, etc. Just thought you might like to know about it.

Now for those last two stumpers... Does anybody have the answers???? (Besides you, of course, Birdman!)

Once again, thanks for the fun, Birdman! I hope to reciprocate shortly.
