Blackcap in my garden
How lovely to spot a male Blackcap having a drink from my bird bath today! Only the second ever in my garden! I was only thinking of last years visitor a couple of days ago then lo and behold another! What a wondeful time of year and so much to look forward to...............

Well done on the Blackcap sighting. I had a Blackcap in my garden about 2 years ago, it was a regular visitor to the feeders in my garden for about a week or so, and then it suddenly disappeared, either the local Sparrowhawk caught it or it got fed up with the food that was being provided for it and the other local residents.
