Elmley Marshes

It was a very hot week down at the caravan went to Elmley Marshes, I did see a number of Marsh harrier but as usual wrong time wrong place, large numbers of Avocets, Shell ducks I did see a Greylag sitting on eggs coots with large numbers of chicks

Hi Joanne and thanks, the Avocet had just been driven of its nest by the shell duck the nest is behind the duck with one egg in the nest, I would have liked to have caught a bit more detail of the shell duck.

Great shots of my favourite place. That mallard in front of the goose hasn't moved since last week!
