Flycatcher Northern Ohio

Sighted 20 May along Lake Erie. Two views, to show eye-ring, wing-bars and coloration. Thank you for your best analysis even if it is to narrow it down to a few species.

Jim

That thin bill doesn't belong to a flycatcher, your bird is a Ruby-crowned Kinglet (Regulus calendula).
Cheers,
Eduardo

Jim
Are you sure it's a flycatcher and not a Ruby-crowned Kinglet?

Edit: Oops: beat to the punch, again--it's amazing how quickly responses come piling in on BF.

Your photo shows the yellow feet contrasting with the darker legs of the Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
