40d Failure
After 2 months of less than intensive photography the shutter had to be replaced [amazingly the camera continued to take pics even though no buttons were working, no menus and no LCD screen!]. Repaired very quickly under warranty by Colchester Camera Repairs and interestingly focus seems better now.
Anyone like to say what they reckon the best general settings to have on the C buttons are - for us rank amateurs! Thanks. |

C3 is the one to get right and a good bird in flight setting would be A1 SERVO single point around 1/2000 /1/3000sec f4 / f5.6 iso 400
to get to c3 you just turn the dial till it stops ? Rob. |
