Hawaii--stumped
I'm on vacation in Hawaii and caught the attached photo. I have limited birding resources here, but I don't think this fellow would be in my guides anyway since they focus on North America. He doesn't appear in any of the internet guides to Hawaii birds, so I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

That's a Java Sparrow, Padda oryzivora. It's one of quite a few introduced species in Hawaii.

Like everyone else said, it's a Java Sparrow. They've been established in Hawaii for at least 50 years now.
