I'm not from Canada, but several of our members are and I'm sure they will be along soon. On behalf of Admin and the Moderators, let me welcome you to Bird Forum  As you'll have seen we have quite and active site with all things birding (wild ones) under discussion and thousands of photos all taken by our members in the Gallery and the Birds Database - found under the Resources menu.
