Nikon Tele photo lense TC-E3ED

Hi there
I have just been given (birthday) the Nikon tele photo lenses (3x) for my 4500 camera. If anyone uses this equipment I would be really grateful for any tips. There is not much on the blurb that comes with the camera - or in the Nikon manual with the 4500.
Many thanks
Kim

Hi Kim,

Lucky you. There's not much to tell with this item, though I found having the camera in macro mode produced the better results (similar to digicoping).
There's no real need to set the camera up for the tc3-ed, it is an option in the camera menus....but it just restricts the camera zoom so you can't go far enough back to get any vignetting.
Regards,
Andy

Hi Andy
Thanks for your reply - I'm a bit confused (as usual) at the moment . Am not sure whether I should be in Auto mode - or in A - as I was most of the time when digiscoping or M!!! The odd shot I have taken in the garden is not as sharp as digiscoped one's - although one wasn't bad. As said there is very little in the manual about it at all. Will try maco - if it ever stops raining!!
Cheers
Kim
