Can someone help me ID

I took this picture in iceland but i cant decide what it is i know its either a red brested merganser or a goosander and as far as i know they can both be found in iceland. can anyone give be a poisitive identification,

diffuse boarder to the neck and slim looking bills would suggest RB Merganser.

Agree with Craig for Red-breasted Merg. To me, Red-breasted Mergs don't look as powerful and striking as Goosanders; "Goosander" being a name that sums up this species better than the North American name, "Common Merganser".
