with that hooked-beak - I'm guessing Mangrove Golden Whistler
(currently overseas - so no Australian guides for me to refer to here)
cheers

I agree whistler due to the strong bill. I cannot say which of these it is.

I'd venture for Grey Whistler. Two reasons: you mentioned a gerygone in your initial guess, and Grey Whistler is smaller than the other whistlers; the race of mangrove golden whistler that is found in Darwin should have yellow tint on vent, and black undertail coverts.

I'm with Mike: Brown whistler - split from Grey in Northern Territories (simplex).

A small word of advice. Please do not quote such messages in your message. He doesn't care what the idea of this forum is. There's a fair chance it isn't even a "he" or "she", but an automated bot. It is spam. While a few clicks from BF users to the link provided would be an added bonus, the main idea about that is to get results via google and alike. That's also why all the strange variations of manga were used in the post. So, instead of unintentionally "helping" the spammer by quoting the entire message, please do report it instead the next time (see attachment). Normally, a mod will remove it fast then.
