Nikon flash with Canon EOS 1D Mark IIN
Hi there
I am going to Peru and hope to photograph some hummingbirds while I am there. I have an EOS 1D Mark II N and a 30D as well as a couple of 580EXII flash guns and the ST-2 infra red device. I also have a Nikon SB24 and two SB 23s from my old Nikon days. I have studied the techniques of hummingbird photography and realise that 4, 5 or even 6 flash guns would be better than 2. Therefore does anyone know if I can fire the Nikon gun using a flash slave unit? I do not want to attach the Nikons by cable to the Canon camera because of concerns about wiring comapatability. The Nikon units would be used to illuminate the background at a Hummingbird feeder station, so TTL or not would not be a major issue. Thanks for any help you can offer. Kevin |
