Question Daytime Bat Kilwinning

Hello Folks,

I meant share this last week.
Captured this Bat flying over the river Garnock just down from the Sawmill bridge. Location is Kilwinning, Ayrshire, Scotland.

From the colouration and the fact that it was flying in daytime I would tend to lean towards Noctule for this one.

On Thursday I saw a Noctule flying over a cottage garden on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. The time was exactly 1PM! I can only assume it was taking advantage of a brief sunny spell. A nearby Stonechat looked equally confused.

i ve seen alot of bats hunting during day i think they trying hunt most as possible before hibernation and night time weather has been terrible here for bats hunting in.
