Scoter?

Can someone help me with this. i think it is a Common Scoter but i might be right off the mark. I took this here in Orkney a few weeks ago on a fresh water loch.

Common Moorhen. Notice the white stripe on the sides, and the red bill with the yellow tip. Scoters also have a much differently shaped bill.

Cheers Jim Its so easy to see when your told. I just couldnt get passed the idea of a funny looking scoter once i had convinced my self thats what it was.
