Depressing news. Amazingly Glenogil estate is the same estate that was given a record financial penalty a couple of months ago for poisoning offences:

Interesting story about the owner here:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...-the-glen.html

which contains the priceless quote: "When this estate came up for sale I thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the caretaker of a very special bit of Scotland,"

Interesting too, that it was the neighbouring estate owner who reported the find!

Read this in the paper today-very depressing. At least they've stopped it (for a while!)

From the same article:

A keen shot, he is also passionately interested in improving the grouse shooting
Probably by reducing raptor numbers!!!

Not at all surprising. What else would they do if innocent to distance themselves and help remove suspicion ?

Unhappy

Another 3 links about mentioned WTE connected to the same 'report'

So sad to hear about this at all, and to see the bird in flight before the inhuman 'sadistic' discovery was made.
