ID Crow vs Raven Central Texas

This bird appeared at the local lake flying almost in an attack mode overhead. It happened so quick these are the best photos I could get to help ID. I thought he was just a mean crow but after looking at him closer, I'm not sure. He did appear to be larger than a crow but size is sometimes hard to judge. Any thoughts on ID?

With that schnozolla, I'd be inclined to say Raven.

Thanks for confirming what I thought. Is it common for them to act out in attack mode with humans? This bird was very vocal and diving in low several times before flying away. I guess next time I shouldn't sit so still and look like food.

Just my own personal (and inexperienced) view. The Ravens I see (only two of them) come and have a look at me and say "hello" everytime I'm in their area. Very vocal and they always see me before I see them. I have always thought of them as friendly and very intelligent birds, almost magical. I love them! I wouldn't worry about looking like a food source..........I'm sure they're just curious and coming to have a look at you.

There are lots of legends about Ravens, it's worth googling to have a look.
