Red Capped bird in central Texas USA

i saw this today but couldn't find it in any of my books, i was wondering if anybody could classify it, i know its not a very good picture but i saw two of them right in front of me, may have been juvenille, they did not seem to have a red head, just a red cap.. Thanks for your help!

How big was it? It looks like a Ruby-Crowned Kinglet, but with too much red.

Looks like just a very angry Ruby-Crowned Kinglet to me. It's hard to tell what direction the head is facing, but if the bird was looking forward (so the side of its head was facing the camera), that seems like about the right amount of red in the crest.

Ah you guys are awesome! in my book it only has one picture of it and it doesnt even have the read crown... but from what i saw off google we definitely have a match, thank you guys for your help

(and the bird was very small)

I agree with Ruby-crowned Kinglet. They can really show off that mostly concealed red in their crest if they get mad enough.
