In the garden tonight

Large mixed flock of fielfare/redwing. 50--100. Roosting in Leylandi and shrubs some very close to the ground.Cold weather is forcing them of the mountain.

Incidently I saw a Fieldfare in my small garden for the first time today. I presume that the frozen ground forced it to look beyond its normal feeding area.
