My Canuck List!(mainly Manitoba plus out of town trips)

Been under the weather and staying away from it since the
New Year,so have not identified any birds until today.

1.European Starling-flew into a large lighted shopping center sign
to spend the night, knows where to find warmth in -30'c weather!

Correction!

I will admit it do not feel comfortable with two of my sightings
The Great Grey Owl, it was way too dark and seen too briefly to identify.
Why did I arrive at a Great Grey Owl ,large, eliminating all but
Great Horned Owl,also could make out the cigar shape of the owl when flying which
reminded me of past sightings of Great Greys.
Hoary Redpoll, just do not know enough about their difference
from Common.Did post a photo here for identification but should learn to
know them by myself.
