Electronic Lock on the PC

I want to control my daughter's use of the computer. Can anybody tell me how to put a password lock on the computer, so she will have to come to me to unlock it?

Thanks

Gareth

Go into user accounts and set up a password, means you will have to type it each time to gain access.
Start, control panel, user accounts.

I assume that you have Windows XP? If so, Veraocha's advice is correct.

You might also think about creating a new user account for her. In this way, she can have her own desktop and favorites, My Documents folder as well. You can also make the accound a limited user account, instead of a computer administrator, helping to prevent unwanted changes to your system.

This can all be easily accomplished from the user accounts screen.

Regards,

Gary
