The white upper wing patch and the size and jizz of the bird i would guess at a Steppe Eagle

This bird looks longer winged, with noticeable longer fingers than either of the spotted eagles. And i would agree its a probably a steppe though i having never seen one i am not one hundred percent

Eastern Imperial Eagle was my first thought when i saw the pictures, but I'm not 100% sure. The neck and tail look rather long for Steppe and the Spotted Eagles, the wing tips look more rounded than on a Steppe and the bill looks larger than on the Spotted Eagles. The biggest concerns are the relatively short P4 and the pale patch at the base of the hand (which adult Eastern Imperial Eagles should lack and which is slightly differently shaped on immatures), but I'd still regard EIE as the best alternative. I believe that a Steppe Eagle would be sligtly outside its normal range in Ukraine.

Wow!!if you had just posted photo 5 I would have had
no doubt in going for Imperial-that long `stick` like tail being so typical of Imp and Spanish Imp,but photo no1!! with the pale patch on the hand....agreed that it looks rather too long winged for Spotted,Aquila`s,dont you just love`m Mark |
