Appreciate it. Claires well rested and back with her bounce. Thank you for asking.

Hi Steve

Excellent report and healthy checklist. I'll get in touch with you soon, I'm going to Dahab in November - diving but obviously early mornings and a 2 day desert safari will do my birding wonders :)

Indeed a good report. I'm glad you mentioned the friendliness of the Egyptian people as that's how I found them on my one and only trip to the country. Much more accommodating and friendly than us Brits (and French!).

Excellent report, Steve. Brings back some happy memories of our family holiday only last month (report here). It also made me realise that as someone relatively new to this my ids were all pretty much there!!

We hope to go back to Sharm on holidays in the future, and I think next time I might spend more time exploring the desert & birding.

Richard

Excellent report Steve. Really pleased you had an enjoyable & productive trip and the sites you visited didn't disappoint. Was interesting comparing your records to my mine from March as well. Like you pointed out, the Egyptians are very friendly people & glad you had no problems getting to & from the various sites. That grotty pool across from the Jaz Mirabel was certainly handy as well!

regards

Chris
