I have just read your reference to the Scops Owl site at the Guardia Civil in Puerto Pollenca. I am afraid they have not nested there since at least 2005 (so i am reliably informed).
I saw them there in 2002 on two separate visits, however when i went back last year there was no sign and a local told me they had not been there since 2005.
