Pied Billed Grebe

Nikon CP 8700 with 1.5x telephoto. Is any one using this camera with the teleconverter or a scope?

Any comments would be appreciated!

It is a nice shot - some thoughts:

Bird is dead centre - maybe crop such that bird is slightly off centre
Bird is looking away rather than towards the camera

For the second point that is often the key to a good shot - the bird's eye
