Lizard ID - Alicante Province, Spain
This blighter hid in full site for a couple of photos - this is the best by far sadly but I was hoping for some help with ID.
http://idiocybirding.blogspot.com/20...-province.html Scroll to the bottom of the trip report.

Your lizard is a Spiny-footed Lizard Acanthodactylus erythrurus. They are not particularly shy lizards hence you can get pretty close to them. They like sandy ground with scattered vegetation.
