6-45am, dull start good bird song by dunnocks-blackbird-robin-chaffinches. Was putting out food when the blackbirds alarm call went off at full pitch! i just turned round to see were he was and just felt a almighty draught pass my ear, heard more than saw him hit the hawthornhedge, and in very hot pursute local sparrowhawk, he stayed in hedge hawk went right through. i think that by staying in garden it stopped the hawk from further pursute, well i like to think so!! went in made a brew and low and behold, the same thing again!!!! this happened once more then i think the hawk had enough, so no breakfast for him.
well that was my start to the day. bert.
