Cool Devon 30.12.2

08.00 Bowling Green Marsh RSPB reserve, Topsham, nr Exeter. The Glossy Ibis had been roosting on a small patch of grass near the reed beds all night. As the light came up, he started a feed, then preen. At 08.26, after stretching his wings once or twice, he flew off for the day. A majestic bird. A privilege to see him again.
