ID please....UK

Could somebody please tell me if this is a Peregrine or a Hobby. It is not a very good pic and that is for sure !

It's a pretty good pic. Pity you can't see the breast or leg area. Did you notice if the breast was streaked -vertical lines- or barred- horizontal lines?

as a guess I'd say Hobby.

It´s a hobby, I´m sure. You can see the beggining of the vertical stripes, and this "double moustache".

That has got to be a Hobby, the overall shape just seems too slight for Peregrine, especially the wing? It is still possible for them to be around in Britain early November, I'm sure.

Hi, this ia a Hobby alright.Although it is a very late date for a UK record, there was one at Spurn,E.Yorks, on the 5th November and there are a scattering of records for south coast sites for November over the last few years( which I assume are gen!)

Looking at the exif it says you processed the picture on the 7/11/09 but that the picture was taken on 28/6/08, I was wondering whether you had the time set properly in your camera?
