Good time of the year to check Lake Michigan
recent sightings from the Lake Michigan shore from Frankfort to Manistee and Ludington include Red-throated Loons, Purple Sandpipers, Red Phalarope, Harlequin Ducks all seen this last weekend.

Farther up the shore (Petoskey) recent Pacific Loon and down the Shore (Benton Harbor) Ancient Murrelet!

This week along Lake Michigan:
Dovekie (found dead on shore Van Buren County) and Arctic Tern near Three Oaks, Berrien County.
