Opticron Discovery WP PC
I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on these??
I have some Bushnell 10x42s which are really good for reservoirs/ distance work but want a pair of 8x42s for my local patch which would give a bit of extra brightness for the early mornings and late evenings. I have decided to go for nitrogen filled/waterproof (same as my 10x42s) and am thinking of either Opticron Discovery WP PC, Avian Trekker or Swift Reliant. Any comments to help decide would be appreciated. Cheers |

All are worth a check. I can say that the Discovery WP punches well above its weight for a £159 binocular. It has just been updated with an imporved wider FOV and a smoother focusing wheel along with a brighter, sharper image. Details here; http://www.opticron.co.uk/Pages/discovery_wp.htm Rob |
