Black-head Gull in UK from Germany?

I've been trying to get the complete ring number of this bird at Billing, Northampton over several visits and I've finally pieced it all together.

it looks like IA 128517 VOGELWARTE NIDENSEE and possibly GERMAN A.

Does anyone know any more about this adult bird?

Edit - I meant Black-headed Gull, C.ridibundus

Pity I don´t know anything about the bird but the ring reads:

I A 128517 VOGELWARTE HIDDENSEE - GERMANIA (= Germany)

Here you can make a request about your bird:

Good ring - reading,

Roman

Many thanks Roman. I've submitted the record through the Euring link though my German is very limited so I can't understand much of the text on the Fachrichtung Biologie website I'm sorry to say.

Thanks again, I've had an acknowledgment from my email to them already.

The bird is very alive and getting to the bread quicker than the other gulls as I've been throwing it in its direction.

A great find Dave, I have recently started getting a few Black-heads with rings on at work. So far I to have had a German 1st Winter bird and an Adult from Norway!

Great fun isn't it.....looks like yours are a lot more approachable. We have to scope ours!

All the best,

Jake

Yes, it makes watching common birds infinitely more interesting. This is another BF thread of a Northants gull tempted by bread!
