Or Sparrowhawk, tail looks quite thin? Bit tricky with these photo's though....

How the grey shows to the underbody is the effect of narrow, dense streaking, the body is heavy and the tail comparetively not long but short. Goshawk for me.

It looks like an Accipiter to me & heavy enough for Goshawk but a def id is dificult with these images. P.

Pic 2 shows barrel shaped chest which would make me thnk goshawk, but not a definite id from these photos.

Not sure what it could be if not an accipiter (although it looks a bit wood-pigeon-like in #2!). My first thought was Goshawk because of the depth of chest and the possibly narrowish hand. Second thought was Sparrowhawk on the principle that most 'possible Goshawk' are Sparrowhawks. Also the rear of the body looks a bit narrow for Gos in #3 and the head perhaps a bit pointy in #1, and perhaps the wing posture falsely increases the 'deep body' impression in 1 and 2. So I've confused myself and wouldn't bet what it is (but lean toward sparrowhawk) (a bit!).

Don't think this principle applies to Ukraine where Goshawks are not scarce.
